Why you'll love it

More than just a chair.

1

We use the chair, then we move

It's home base for stability — then we stretch, add light resistance, and get your heart rate up, all without stress on your knees or back.

2

Music you'll love

Familiar favorites that have you tapping your toes the whole time. Fitness should feel like a celebration, not a chore.

3

A room full of friends

The best part isn't the exercise — it's the people. We leave time to catch up before and after. It's the social highlight of the week.

4

Come as you are

No special gear. Comfortable clothes, sturdy shoes, and a smile — we provide the chairs and everything else.

Coach Eyvette

Eyvette is the warm welcome and gentle push behind Sit & Get Fit — and the friendly face you see at the front desk. She keeps things running smoothly up front, then turns around and leads seated, low-impact workouts that are easy on the joints but still make you say, “Whew, okay… we did something today.”

Her classes are full of laughs, encouragement, and moves that help you stay strong, steady, and confident in everyday life. She’s living proof that you don’t have to jump, bounce, or get on the floor to get a good workout — just show up, keep moving, and enjoy yourself.

Medicare & insurance

For most of our fam, this class is free.

If you're on Medicare or a qualifying plan, Sit & Get Fit may already be covered through SilverSneakers or Renew Active — at zero cost to you. It's the favorite first class for our insurance members.

Real talk

Questions, answered.

Is this really a workout if I'm sitting?

It is — and you'll feel it (the good kind). We build in stretching, light resistance, and rhythm work that gets your heart rate up. The chair just takes the impact off your joints.

Do I have to be a senior?

Not at all. It's built to be gentle and joint-friendly, so it's popular with our older members — but anyone easing back into movement or working around an injury is welcome.

My knees and back aren't great. Can I still do it?

Yes — that's exactly who this class is for. Everything is low-impact, you set the pace, and you can modify or rest anytime.

Is it free with my insurance?

For most members, yes — through SilverSneakers or Renew Active. Check your coverage →
